This was an instant must have for me last year, and giving it a year to age has only improved it. I loved it immediately. Juicy, bright, sugared red musk, rich patchouli, and the black tea in the background. I just adore it, and I crave it often - so it's gotten a lot of wear for me! I'm a big fan of NA's patchouli, so I love all of my Bats, but this - along with this year's Vampire Bourbon Patchouli Bat, are my two favorites. They're very different from each other, but both so rich and gorgeous. If you are at all thinking about it, do not miss this one!

Blood is super atmospheric! This...wow. It's spooky, y'all. I could write a story based on this perfume. It starts out with the bright red musk that is Kashmir, and the sort of twang that is how palo santo starts out for me. The tobacco - I love their tobacco note, so I knew I had to have this! - is rich and dark, very realistic. And that caramel oudh, wow. That's a really good base for this blend, it's beautifully smoky, rich, warm. This is another that is sure to develop as it ages. It's quite strong, so even if you are inclined to slather, as I am, you might want to start out with a smaller amount than usual. It lasts for a very long time! The long drydown is a warm, inviting caramel tobacco oudh, perfect for a blustery fall day, or a dark, foggy night. I absolutely love this, it's incredible and so unique.

Blackout is a stunner. I'm usually a little leery of jasmine, but it's so well done here - just a lovely, sweet purple floral that melds so seamlessly with the other notes. Darkly gothic, sexy and intriguing. I would say even if you are not usually into the listed notes, you might want to reconsider this - it's truly a stunner, and sure to only get better with age. I'm so glad I decided to give it a try! The clove is more of a supporting note here, and the chypre is the perfect balance against the sweet,sultry floral of the jasmine. What a unique perfume, I have nothing like it. Amazing!

I love it. Smells fancy schmancy and the Rose isn’t too heavy or overpowering. Has a nice powderiness which is NOT my thing typically but is perfect for this. I want to put on a floofy dress and dance around a candlelit ballroom with a handsome stranger.

The black currant in this is wonderfully juicy and sweet, giving this a strong, dark berry scent that sometimes reminds me of blackberry and blueberry. It's juicy and true rather than candied, even though it is quite sweet. Then there are hints of soapy, clean, white smelling musk and a lovely, dark, bruised violet scent. Dries down with hints of a rich wine note and sultry red musk. Complex, dark, and deeply indulgent. I think this will only improve with age, but right now it's a beautiful, gothic, dark fruity-floral that I think is just so beautiful.

One of the nicest spiced coffee scents I own, because the spice actually behaves itself and doesn't overwhelm the other notes. Carpathian is pretty amazing. I am not a loam or dirt fan normally but had to take a chance. Every note has an opposite to balance with. Dry Sandalwood/wet dirt, sweet honey/spicy Cardamom, heavy Bergamot/light yuzu. I would say it leans masculine. A bit powdery on dry down but in a really enticing way. Not a ton of throw so it draws others in to get a good whiff. I love yuzu and in here it is used to the perfect degree to tie the Sandalwood and Bergamot together so this isn’t citrusy but isn’t incensy either. Without adding any sugary sweetness, the honey underlies it all to anchor this to your skin. You will never want it to let go.

Exotic spices, exotic Christmas oud in Dubai memories, gingerbread touches I think are also pumpkin, I do get the charred cinnamon and it is lovely and not a takeover to the scent but adds to the refinement of the spice. Impressive how expensive this feels with the spices and the clean musk. I've smelled this in the Dubai airport but not this nice. Very impressed with NA. This is my second perfume from the site and I am already a lifelong fan and will be making another purchase of this perfume in case it sells out.

I love this from first sniff. I get leather, that kashmir note but more stunning, red wine, warm oud and smoking embers. In the background after a few hours of wear the copal begins to shine through and revive the scent again. What a concept from the name, the art and the way the perfume resonates with me. I absolutely love this and is backup worthy. If you love leather perfumes, this is something different and truly worthy of a perfume collection standout.

I've always been rather gun-shy with patchouli. I don't care for the 'dirty hippie' scent stereotype. BUT the way it's used in VVB is stunning! I took a chance on it because elsewhere it's rated high and this is the last year it will be available. The patchouli is strong a the beginning but quickly falls into the background holding up the vanillas which are warm and smooth...not terribly foodie which is nice. It's earthy, sweet and spicy and now I'm kicking myself for not getting a backup bottle! hehehe...Thanks!

Bastet’s Potion Studio:

Sleep Elixir – White Muguet, Crystalline Vanilla Absolute, White Musk, Blue Sage, Black Chamomile and a touch of Bulgarian and French Lavender Absolute nestled in a bowl of black salt to ward off the bad dreams and help ease into a peaceful state before sleep.

Kenaz – Rich Black Honey accord, Indian Oudh, Warm Bonfire Wood and Crimson Musk.  A scent of illumination, transformation and divination.  This scent will linger for days.  It is intense.  Just a small drop will do.  Aging will create a wondrous perfume, buy another for this purpose!

First impression? This is probably going to be my favorite pumpkin. It's got a definite yummy pumpkin aspect, but no spice. I'm getting their lovely sugar note; the more I see of their sugar, the more I love it. The resins add the absolute perfect balance. It's smoky and I definitely smell the copal and oudh. Oh, I love it.

This is totally different from Vampire Vanilla Bat, if anyone was concerned. I am definitely getting the bourbon vanilla,and the tea is mild but definitely there. In my experience with these types from NA the tea will be stronger over time, and play more of a role, and this is only the second day quick impression. The pepper is a lovely supporting note to the vanillas and I can tell there's a woody note here. I'm going to adore this, and I'm glad I went for this one too.I am definitely getting the bourbon vanilla,and the tea is mild but definitely there. This could be one of the most beautiful vanilla, and haunting patchouli perfumes I own. I absolutely love all the patchouli perfumes NA offers because there is no other like it on Earth. It is perfect for the season and for anytime you want to be reminded of the awesomeness of Halloween season. Let's be honest, that's all year 'round! If you love vanilla and patchouli, you cannot miss this. I have all the versions before this 2017 one, and they all have gotten even better with age, if that's even possible! This lasts on me, and I think I need a few backups. :)

Oh, yummy. Definitely can see a few different vanillas in this, and the spice is light, perfectly done. I ordinarily amp spice, but this is so balanced, I don't have a problem with it at all. The patch is the PERFECT balance here. I'm already in love with this. It's quite rich and the patchouli is really great and reeling it in, grounding it. Definitely glad I nabbed a bottle this year.
